Squeeeeee!!!!  So, I’m a little excited, lol.  My friend recruited me to do her makeup for her husband’s unit’s USMC Birthday Ball tonight.  I normally turn people down when they ask me to do their makeup.  I get super nervous.  I don’t want them to look like shit (or THINK they look like shit), and then have it be my fault.  Let them blame it on themselves, right?!  Well, that’s really stupid thinking for someone that would like to eventually get paid to do other people’s faces.  There’s just no sense in that.  I’ve also had a local MUA telling me that I need to “hurry up and get my ass in the game”, as she put it.  She does absolutely gorgeous work, and I know she keeps it real.  I figured she had to be telling the truth, especially since she says this to me repeatedly.  (If you’re reading this, you know who you are!!)
