B3 – May Edition

Hi guys!  This month I got to interview someone from across the great pond :)  Please meet Zara, of Pinch Your Cheeks!
1. Hi!  I couldn’t seem to find an “about me” post on your blog, so tell me a few things about yourself!  What are your hobbies?  What is the intent behind your blog?  Do you have a dog?  Fill us in :)
I started the blog initially to just start writing about anything. I was going through a pretty bad patch in my life and wanted to express things that I felt I couldn’t to my nearest an dearest. This was the best way for me – and remain anonymous! The blog started changing more and more into stuff about skincare and makeup – it just became a natural evolvement!

2.) There seems to be a focus around skincare on your blog.  What is your favorite masque to use?
Most heat masks. It really helps get rid of impurities on my skin and keeps it hydrated. I have very sensitive skin so have to be careful what I use – my Favourite one for years and years has been The Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal mask

3.)  I saw that you mentioned in a few posts that you might not have flawless skin.  Do you have any tips for those of us boys and girls that are struggling to keep blemishes at bay?
I have gone on and on about this, but it took me YEARS to discover Lush’s TEA Tree water. It really does keep the spots at bay for me. Plus the Body Shop Tee Tree blemish sticks work wonders for me too.

4.)  Your reviews seem to cover products that I never see too often on other blogs.  Why don’t you blog more often?
I love reading other’s blogs and do sometimes pick up stuff through their recommendations. The products I mention are the ones that I might have discovered going to the shops and researching over the net. I like to try out combinations of high end and low end products. If it works for me, I’ll mention it! Not too sure why I cover products that are not too common on other blogs  - what I can say is that what ever I write is honestly straight from my heart!

I haven’t stopped blogging. There are so many new things I have got that I want to talk about. Its just things have got pretty busy recently. I just need to get myself motivated again :)

5.)  Where in the UK are you located?  Have you visited any other countries?
I’ve lived most of my life in London, and although sometimes I get frustrated with the tubes and amount of people, I do love it. I try and travel a couple times a year – favourite places being Hong Kong and New York. I always try and do a european city a couple of times a year as they really are gems. Recent visit being Budapest which i adored.

6.)  What do you want to be when you “grow up”?  If you’ve already “grown up”, what did you become?
Lol, I’m afraid, I am already ‘grown-up’ in age, but probably not yet mentally! I actually wanted to become a politician or Human Rights activist when I was younger. Although I am not any of these in profession, I am lucky enough to be in these fields of work though.

7.)  I am honestly lost for a 7th question.  Please, take the time to tell us anything else that the world might not know about you :)

Erm…. my recent obsession are flat whites (double expresso lattes)!!!1. Hi!  I couldn’t seem to find an “about me” post on your blog, so tell me a few things about yourself!  What are your hobbies?  What is the intent behind your blog?  Do you have a dog?  Fill us in :)
