Hello People!!  *waves to the new followers especially* I am bringing to you the very first post in my new 80′s Makeup series.  For those of you that don’t know about this series, it is brand new!  The 80′s (and early 90′s) are one of my absolute favorite eras for music, fashion, movies, etc.  Everything was literally just COLORFUL and fun!!  So, I figured what better way to bring some life to my blog than to see how other people interpret 80′s and early 90′s?  If you would like to participate (and your  post can be ANYTHING.  Nails, hair, fashion, makeup, etc), please email me at mika_chan@aijuswhanakno.com  Include any information that you would like for me to include in your post, as well as a list of any products used and photos to post.   For those of you that don’t have blogs, this could be an awesome way for you to get your feet wet, and help you decide if you would like to start a blog of your own.♥

Here’s what I did…hopefully it represents the 80′s :) I was feeling kind of sick tonight “headache, sore throat, ect” and I totally forgot to do mascara rofl….although I figured it kind of keeps the lashes out of the way of the vibrant colors! So maybe it’s not too bad lol. Thanks for letting me participate in such a fun topic!

For this look I used the following:

Nyx White (highlight/lowerlash/outer corner)
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline (upper lashline/lower lashline)Urban Decay 24/7 liner Zero (waterline)
Face:Fyrinnae Velociraptor (Lightning/marks)
MAC Tippy (used a piece of paper for straight line/blended bottom out)

Anyways, I really really liked these new colors.  Sugar Skulls is one of Fyrinnae’s newest colors to be released on the site.  (By the way, follow Fyrinnae’s chemist on twitter.  Tons of sneak peaks and fun going on over there.  And no, he didn’t put me up to saying that.  I just thought you should know ^_^  )  Back to the subject, this color was originally created for Grey of Le Gothique.   One day she sent out a tweet asking if anyone knew of a pink eyeshadow with an orange duochrome.  TAA-DAA, enter the lovely chemist.  He whipped this up for her and then completely surprised her with it.  I think that’s pretty awesome.  Anyways I’m rambling.  Here’s the look.

• Sky Blue (PRO): Robin’s egg blue(frost)
• Aqua (PRO): Subdued pale greyed aqua(matte)
• Atlantic Blue (perm): Bright violet blue(matte)
• Zingy (limited editon): Bright sky blue(mate)
• Shock-a-holic (limited edition): Deep purple(matte)
• Going Bananas (repromote from C Shock): Soft lemon yellow(frost)
• Lime (PRO): Lime green(matte)
• Sassy Grass (limited edition): Bright grass green(matte)
• Louder, Please (limited edition): Bright fuchsia(matte)
• Crazy Cool (again. limited edition): Pale frosty lavender(veluxe pearl)
• Not pictured: Winkle (perm): Mid-tone cornflower blue(satin)

The look didn’t turn out how I intended, and at first I was very displeased by it.  I actually meant to have an aqua type color as my lid color, and just greens in the crease and brow.  I dipped my brush into the wrong pot though, and had to improvise.  However, I actually ended up liking this look a lot.  I also received a lot of compliments for some reason.  Actually, I tend to receive a lot of compliments anyways when I’m wearing Evil Shades.  Here’s more of the look.

I’m really sorry there haven’t been many posts lately.  I didn’t work that much over the last few weeks, and all of last week was a vacation for me.  Now that I’m done with vacation, post frequency shall resume.  This post is more of a sales announcement though.  Please read on, because this is rather exciting!

So I finally got around to trying out my circle lenses.  I LOVE them!!!  I bought “pop gray”, but they actually have a little bit of a blue effect on me.  I definitely still wanna get the “pop honey” ones that I originally went looking for.  What do you guys think?  (Sorry for the lack of MU, it’s my day off ^_^ )
